A Child Can Destroy What a ‘Master’ Creates
I am a child of the Most High!!
I know the purpose of life itself
God knows what is in my heart, he is my friend
I have aligned my will with His, so now His will is mine!!!
MY WISHES ARE ALWAYS GRANTED

HAPPY ‘JEWISH’ RESURRECTION DAY EVERYONE!!!!
Wow! Making up holidays as competition celebrations is ALOT OF FUN!
This ‘jewish’ Resurrection Day, I thought that it would be nice to put up this short poem that was deleted, if I remember correctly, by ‘Max Igan’ because it was in a string of comments that included some constructive criticism of him by a commenter with the handle ‘sunislocal.’ Or maybe it was deleted because I mentioned that we should transform Charles Mountbatten Windsor the 3rd into a blind, tongueless seal? Believe it or not, I lost that seal comment, I have to try and find it sometime.
Anyway, I like this poem because it has many different layers of meaning.
The first line of the poem is also the title, it is a paraphrased lesson that the Buddha told to the serial killer Angulimala before that serial killer became enlightened.
““If you are intent on killing me, then please grant me one final wish: cut a branch from that tree.”
With a sinister grin, Angulimala swung his sword at the tree, and a large branch fell to the ground.
Buddha then made another request, “Just one more thing: reattach the branch to the tree.”
Angulimala laughed and said: “I can cut, but I cannot reconnect.”
Smiling, Buddha responded, “When all you can do is destroy and not create, you shouldn’t engage in destruction, as it requires no courage and can be carried out even by a child. This branch could be severed by anyone, but only a master can reattach it”.
This statement caused Angulimala to pause and consider the Buddha’s words.
Recognizing the wisdom and compassion within the Buddha, Angulimala decided to abandon his violent ways “

It can have a double meaning for masons as they have a term called ‘master builder.’ I put the term master in quotations because, as a Christian, I am only allowed to called Christ a master.
(Matthew 23 10 has different translations:
King James Bible
“Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.”
Aramaic Bible in Plain English
“And you will not be called Leaders, because one is your Leader, The Messiah.”
I use both just to be safe)
The second line is based from the words of Jesus Christ himself as based in the bible verse Luke 6 35 But “love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High”
It should go without saying that a child of the Most High God can most certainly destroy anything a ‘master builder’ freemason creates, but since they are my enemy how can it be said that I love them if I destroy what they create? It’s pretty simple. Since the masons engage in constructing systems of evil, they are actually creating prisons for themselves in which they cannot see any escape. By destroying their evil systems, they become free to choose to do good instead of evil.
Which brings us to the third line in the poem, the purpose of life. I came to the logical conclusion that the purpose of life is to do good many years ago through studying Buddhism. One of the main objectives in Buddhism is to empty the mind and which, if attained puts one in a state of pure bliss. If you try to accomplish this, emptying your mind of all thought, in a sense, nothing becomes good. Not that everything is bad, but that the state of ‘nothing’ or no - thing is a blissful state of mind. It is impossible to explain this feeling, or describe how to get there, but I will try to do my best. Strangely enough, I think that the concept of nirvana is actually easier to explain using English idioms as well as something I was not as well read on when I was studying Buddhism, Christian theology.
In America, there is an expression when someone gives thanks for something, big or little ‘it was nothing.’ When someone does something good for someone else, could be saving their life or just the little kindnesses in life that help people get through hard times: ‘It was nothing.’ That good feeling that is felt by altruism, is the blissful feeling of nirvana: nothing.
And why does a person who does this altruistic deed call this most pure action ‘nothing’? In martial arts, a person attains the level of a ‘master’ when their actions are completely effortless. When a ‘master’ is attacked, he does not think, he simply does. All the actions he takes to defend himself are done automatically as if they are his second nature. It’s called wuwei, and it means effortless action. So, when someone does something good for someone else and says ‘it was nothing,’ that shows us that this is the natural state of mankind, to do good.
Extrapolating this further, using Christian theology, we observe one of the common Christian phrases that could replace the expression ‘it was nothing,’ which runs along the lines of ‘give God the glory.’ The connection here to the wuwei state of mind or ‘nothing’ can be made by Jesus Christ in where he declared that “No one is good except God alone.”
““Why do you call me good? ” Jesus asked him. “No one is good except God alone”” Mark 10 18
“And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.”” Luke 18 19
“And behold, one came to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?”
Why do you ask me about what is good? ” he said to him. “There is only one who is good. If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Which ones? ” he asked him. Jesus answered: Do not murder; do not commit adultery; do not steal; do not bear false witness; honor your father and your mother; and love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 19 16-19
Now do we see this connection of God to Nirvana and the feeling of pure bliss (all good)?
No one is good but God, and nothing is good.
Do a good deed for someone else: ‘It was nothing’ or “give the glory to God’
If God is good, and God is everywhere, then recognizing Him in everything will bring you into a heaven on earth, a pure bliss, or “nirvana.”
“Am I a God who is at hand,” says the LORD, “And not a God far away?” “Can anyone hide himself in secret places So that I cannot see him?” says the LORD. “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the LORD.” Jeremiah 23 23-24
“know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him” 1 Chronicles 28 9
"God's kingdom isn't something you can see. Nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Jesus Christ, Luke 17 20-21
The next line in the poem, broken in two, first, God knows what is in my heart. I think the whole world knows what is in my heart too, but a couple verses that mention this:
“the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”” 1 Samuel 16 7
“the LORD is with me like a violent warrior. Therefore, my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. Since they have not succeeded, they will be utterly shamed, an everlasting humiliation that will never be forgotten. Yet, O LORD of hosts, You who test the righteous, Who see the mind and the heart; Let me see Your vengeance on them; For to You I have set forth my cause. Sing to the LORD, praise the LORD! For He has saved the soul of the needy one From the hand of evildoers.” Jerimiah 20 11-13
The bible scriptures that relate to the rest of the poem tie it all together. We see that doing good in an altruistic way is our purpose in life, as in that is what God has commanded us to do, and we see that is what God is. God is pure goodness, a feeling that is impossible to describe but that which can only be felt and experienced through the selfless action of doing good to others, or, in other words, expressing love. Love, another word for a feeling that is impossible to accurately describe, and another word which describes God.
That word may be easier for westerners to grasp as a concept, but, sadly, there are many different kinds of meaning to the word love in the English language. The specific type of love that is described as God in the Bible is altruism, not romantic or sexual love. Its name in Greek is ‘agape’ and it means selflessness, sacrifice, and unconditional care for others. Selflessness, another word for the abandonment of ego, and another similarity to the attainment of nirvana.
We can affirm that doing good is the purpose of life.
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him. Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No person has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God abides in us, and his love is fulfilled in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent his Son as the world’s Savior. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God—God remains in him and he in God. And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
1 John 4 7-16
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you.
“My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, I have also loved you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. This is my command: Love one another as I have loved you. There is no greater love than this: that a person would lay down his life for the sake of his friends.
You are my friends if you will do all that I command you. No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you so that you also will go bring forth fruit and your fruit will remain, so that all you will ask my Father in my name, he will give to you. This I command you, that you love one another.” John 15 7-17
“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him. “
“Lord,” said Philip, “show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been among you all this time and you do not know me, Philip? The one who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak to you I do not speak on my own. The Father who lives in me does his works. Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.
Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments” John 14 6-15
God’s will is good, and he wants us all to do good and be good, much like our parents had when we were little children. By keeping the commandments of God, we do good, and if we want to do nothing but good things in our lives, our will is aligned with God’s will. And, as proof that God is Good, your wishes will be granted. Because if He is all powerful and He is good, if all you want is good, He will grant your wish.
So, what about evil?
Well, the fruitless trees, branches and vines will be cut and burned along with the weeds. But if you really want to save them, the most altruistic thing you can do for people addicted to evil is to “love your neighbor as yourself” Jesus Christ, Mark 12 31
And remove the appendage that causes them to sin, because this is how selfless you are to be:
"if your hand or your foot is causing you to sin, cut it off and throw it away from you; it is better for you to enter life maimed or without a foot, than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire. And if your eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fiery hell."
Christ the King, Matt 18 8-9
But first, try to scare them straight and give them a chance to change their evil ways.
“For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” Proverbs 9 10
